As per the Visibility settings wiki page, there are three settings that University Libraries currently uses in DC for Works (record/metadata) and Files: public, private, and institution. Note: Use of the institution setting has been deprecated. However, Samvera Hyrax provides other visibility options, including Embargo and Lease. While a work and its file(s) can have different visibility settings, the work visibility will affect if the content is findable at all.
